Selecting PPE

Selecting the proper PPE (PDF) in an Emory ambulatory / outpatient setting.

Updated August 4, 2020 (to account for updated CDC guidelines on face shields and masking). Be sure to refresh your browser and any PDF's you open if you have visited this site before!

Note: the "reuse" of PPE that is depicted in our current recommendations is based on current supply shortages. It is optimal to use PPE only once and then discard whenever possible. Please consult with your supervisor if you have any questions or concerns about reuse.
